How can our projects inspire and enable capacity and agency?

How can we motivate architects, clients, consultants and builders to aspire to positive change, providing them with the skills and resources necessary for success, and empowering them to understand their power to lead and contribute meaningfully to their communities?

To achieve this, let us consider how we can:

1.1   … help us understand and want to be in relation with and care for Country?

Shape our work to foster a desire to develop a deep and respectful relationship with the land, acknowledging its cultural significance, and promote a sense of responsibility and care for both the natural and cultural aspects of the environment.

1.2   … support and promote healthy and fair supply chains?

Adopt and share knowledge and practices that prioritize the well-being of workers, environmental sustainability, and ethical sourcing of materials throughout the construction and design process.

1.3   … inspire with stories that help us and others in our work?

Share narratives, experiences, and examples, to contribute to a collective story that goes beyond technical knowledge and skills, to foster a sense of joy, connection, inspiration, and continuous learning within the architectural community, ultimately helping people navigate their professional journeys with greater enthusiasm and purpose.
