After 5 successful and enjoyable years at Resource88 (a project we designed and developed with Mary Lynne Pidcock), PIDCOCK - Architecture + Sustainabilty has chosen to relocate to Millers Point. Our new home is located in 2 ex classrooms that sit over Sydney's oldest Catholic Church in one of the most historic locations in Australia.

Renovated in 2004 with both heritage and contemporary excellence in mind, these beautifully day lit rooms retain their timber panelling, teachers' platforms and black boards! A demure colour scheme, well designed furniture and marmoleum flooring complete the picture. We look forward to working with our new landlords to extend and improve the tenancy's sustainability credentials.

The location is one of the most spectacular in Sydney. Sitting on the west side of the harbour bridge and just below Observatory Hill, historical Millers Point is a calm oasis on the edge of the city and harbour. Our new office can be easiiy reached in the following ways:

  • 10 minutes walk from Circular Quay and 12 minutes from Wynyard Station, which are accessed by many trains, buses and ferries.
  • Buses 431 and 433 from Balmain and Glebe Point terminate in Argyle Place, metres from our front door.
  • The Kent Street and Harbour Bridge bicycle paths lead directly to us!
  • Surprisingly, there is lots of parking around and it is usually very easy to find a spot. 4 hour meters are located to the west in Dalgety Road, with 2 hour metres in Kent Street, Argyle Street and Argyle Place.

With our desks in one room, and meeting spaces in the other, we will be happy to hire the latter to those looking for a convenient city location to meet.
